S1 Choir rehearses for Christmas Concert

The S1 choir rehearse every Monday lunchtime and today I took a sneaky preview of what is in store for us at this year's Christmas Concert.

Mr Dearsley is working with a large group of enthusiastic S1 pupils who will be joined by Primary 7 pupils from Preston Street Primary School, Sciennes Primary School, Royal Mile Primary School, Tollcross Primary School and James Gillespie's Primary School.  

Rehearsals are very relaxed with pupils coming into the rehearsal room for lunch before the practising commences!  Mr Dearsley was concentrating on the number one hit single from Bruno Mars; 'Lazy Song'.  I think we are definitely in for a treat and the S1 pupils are making a lovely sound, with rich tone.  Stayed tuned for their second song!
