Frontiers Orchestra: Tinderbox: Performing Opportunity

Tinderbox Orchestra and Oi Musica are launching a fantastic new music project this year called Frontiers Orchestra - a new all-inclusive and contemporary youth orchestra with a mix of orchestral instruments, samba drums and electronic samplers.  It will be open to young people 11-25, any instrument, any standard, including those who don't play anything at all... yet!  Have a look at the Trailer Video.

 

The project has been funded by Creative Scotland and they have a number of free taster workshops they are offering between now and mid October.  The first full course starts after the October half term in North Edinburgh Arts. This looks a brilliant project and a great and opportunity for young people.
