Céilidh Dance

Time: 7:30 - 9:30pm (Doors open at 7pm)

James Gillespie's High School have a strong link with some schools in the Greater Durban area of South Africa. A group of S6 pupils raise funds every year before visiting South Africa in February. Each year the S6 fundraisers organise a Céilidh Dance for S5 and S6 pupils in JGHS. In previous years the music has been provided by a trustworthy i-pod. This year we are hoping to use pupils and teachers form JGHS to create an authentic céilidh band. We hope pupils and friends of JGHS will come along and support the pupils who are fundraising for their trip to South Africa.
Tickets are available during break and lunch times at school and at the door on the evening of the céilidh. They are priced £4 per child and £5 per adult. There will also be other fundraising activities during the evening including a bake sale, and a raffle.
