CHRISTMAS CONCERT FULL DAY REHEARSAL – 

WED. 28^TH AUGUST 2013

 Our school Christmas Concert returns to the Usher Hall on 17^th December 2013.

In order to assist with rehearsals for this during the split site campus, there will be full day rehearsals scheduled over the coming months where senior pupils involved in the following groups will be out of class during the day to attend:

Wind Band (including some S3 pupils)

Senior String Orchestra

Senior Guitar Ensemble

Clarsach Ensemble (a mixture of year groups)

Senior Choir (S4 to S6 pupils)

The first full day of rehearsals takes place on Wednesday 28^th August between Darroch Drama Studio and Bruntsfield House (music dept.)

 Pupils SHOULD NOT register with their class teacher but should make their way to the appropriate rehearsal at the start of the period:

Periods 1 and 2:          Wind Band at Darroch

                                     Percussion Section in B17 

Periods 3 and 4:          String Orchestra at Darroch

                                    Guitar Ensemble in S16

                                    Clarsach Ensemble in B13

Periods 5 and 6:          Senior Choir in B1 and B3 (all S4 to S6 pupils are welcome to join: no audition and no previous experience necessary)
